Paul has been interested in the alchemy of extracting music from recordings ever since he gave a high school presentation on the inner workings of speaker drivers, so long ago he’d rather not dwell on it. Having a long term interest in music of all sorts, but a performing career that ended after six weeks of attempting to get music out of a clarinet, he has been involved with high quality audio ever since.

More recently he has been enjoying going to the movies at home, now that home theatre technology has reached a level of maturity approaching his own. Paul is guided consistently by the principle that the art should be served by the science – seeking immersive involvement with music and film by taming the electronic beast.
